Solvent Chemistries
Welcome to our overview of Solvent Chemistries. There are many solvent chemistries available in today’s market, ranging from low-cost chlorinated fluids to flammable hydrocarbons and modified alcohols, as well as the latest generation of fluorinated solvents.
Many factors come into play when choosing the best solvent chemistries solution to your unique cleaning application.
With many older solvent chemistries being removed or restricted in use due to H&S or environmental reasons, the Opteon™ range of products is now a very real and cost effective long-term option for many applications.
At Fraser Technologies we can run evaluation and cleanliness testing and advise on the best options for both chemistry and equipment.
