Do you know what’s really in your chemicals?

When buying cleaning solvents, do you know what’s really in your chemicals?

When reading the primary ingredient named in a chemical solution, it would be fair and logical to presume that it is simply what is present within the container. However, often this is not the case. In the same vein, the potency and efficacy of a solvent or blended solution may vary with no indication on the container of what you’re really getting inside…

Therefore, it is often useful to consider not only what is listed in the ingredients, but also what has been omitted from the label. It is very important customers understand that if they are looking for a new cleaning chemical for a new process, or if they want to swap to an alternative, they should ensure they do not swap to a chemical that can only be used for the short term. Recent changes in F-Gas legislation have unfortunately meant that some customers have unknowingly changed to a new chemistry that is affected by the new legislation because the key ingredients were not on the label. Getting to know what’s really in your chemicals is crucial for long term success.
